How to Outsmart Self-Doubt: Overcoming Impostor Syndrome

Solid tip for the self-doubters living in all us over-thinking creative types

I’ve posted about Impostor Syndrome before. That self-doubt can well up inside you, convince you that you’re a fake or unworthy. The worst aspect of Impostor Syndrome is that it can prevent you from moving forward – and the only way to truly overcome it is to face it head-on.

I posted a video titled, The Secret to Self-Motivation which myself, and others, found incredibly inspiring. Mel Robbins is a motivational speaker and I love her blunt honesty about life. No sugar coating, just straight-up reality. Today, I thought I would share another one of her videos, especially since we are in the midst of 2018 goals and New Years Resolutions.

Most importantly, I want you to know: you can do this – don’t doubt yourself! The writing world can be competitive, push away that self-doubt and be confident in your abilities!

Good luck and happy writing!
